In the reported period, Kazakhstan saw a significant increase in sunflower oil production, reaching 136,500 tons from the previous year's 103,900 tons. The majority of this production, 83.7%, was aimed at supplying the domestic market, while 16.3% was exported mainly to Uzbekistan, China, and Tajikistan. The average domestic selling price of sunflower oil in Kazakhstan was 651 tenge/liter, with prices fluctuating across regions, ranging from 529 tenge/liter in Chimkent to 865 tenge/liter in Zhezkazgan.
