Russia: Kirov region has increased the export of rapeseed oil, chaga and timber to China

In 2020, the Kirov region became a major exporter of timber, chaga and rapeseed oil to China. Thus, Rosselkhoznadzor monitored the shipment of 3.5 thousand tons of rapeseed oil. The quality of the oil was confirmed by tests at the Kirov branch of the All-Russian Plant Quarantine Center. Laboratory analysis showed that the oil meets the requirements of the importing country. The department issued 159 certificates for the export of rapeseed oil to the owners of the products. But for the export of timber outside the country, 17 thousand certificates have already been issued, confirming the fulfillment of all the requirements of the importing countries. The main importers were China, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, and in total timber products from the Kirov region were exported to 70 countries.
