KMI, 100 days until the 2025 World Fisheries Village Festival

With 100 days to go until the opening of the ‘2025 International Conference on Fishing Communities,’ the Korea Institute of Ocean Science & Technology (KIOST) has launched its official website (https://icfc2025.org) and has fully entered into preparations. KIOST President Jo Jeong-hee announced the opening of the website and the launch of the secretariat on the 1st, saying, “We look forward to meeting domestic and international stakeholders, including fishermen, through this conference, and we will prepare to enjoy the diverse values and charms of fishing villages together.” This International Conference on Fishing Communities, the third to be held after Busan in 2023 and Jeju in 2024, will take place in Incheon from November 9th to 12th for four days.
