South Korea has signed an economic partnership agreement (EPA) with Georgia, eliminating tariffs on 93.3% of Georgian imports and 91.6% of Korean exports within 10 years. The deal includes the removal of tariffs on key agricultural products and automobiles, as well as Georgian wine. The agreement also expands trade in construction equipment, renewable energy facilities, and audiovisual services. However, sensitive items like rice, natural honey, and ginseng are excluded from the concession. The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy plans to quickly process the agreement for signing and implementation.
