South Korea's customs agency has reported a record high in bakery-related product exports, with a 8.3% increase from the previous year, reaching $440 million from January to November. The majority of these exports, 72.5%, were snacks. There was a significant 18.9% surge in baked goods exports, including unique Korean items like steamed buns and fish-shaped pastries. The United States was the top importer of South Korea's bakery products, followed by China and Japan. This growth is largely due to the increasing global popularity of Korean culture and cuisine.
