In the first quarter of the year, Paraguay has significantly increased its beef exports, reaching markets in South America, Europe, and the Middle East, and positioning itself among the top 10 beef exporters to less conventional destinations like Kuwait, Georgia, Ghana, Sierra Leone, and Albania. A report from the National Animal Quality and Health Service (Senacsa) highlights Kuwait as the leading importer among these markets, with purchases of 2,896 tons of beef generating $13 million. This growth has allowed Paraguay to surpass traditional markets, including the United States, which now ranks 12th with 1,422 tons of beef imported, valued at $5 million.
