Kyrgyz vegetable growers will test the feasibility of growing different types of cabbage

The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic is working to find new crops, the cultivation of which will ensure the country's food security, reduce dependence on imports and increase the income of the population. Agro.kg reports this with reference to the department’s press service. The transition to the production of such crops should guarantee high incomes for peasants and farmers, expand the export opportunities of Kyrgyzstan and bring the country’s crop production to a new level. This year, demonstration crops will be planted such as cauliflower, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, oilseed flax, grain sorghum, rapeseed, garden strawberries (strawberries), raspberries and other crops.
