Kyrgyzstan introduced a ban on the import of eggs for six months

The Kyrgyz authorities have introduced a six-month ban on the import of edible chicken eggs into the country. The corresponding decree was published by the government of the republic. This decision was made to ensure and maintain internal food security and stabilize market prices for goods, which have increased significantly since the beginning of the year. The specific duration of the embargo has not been established. However, this document, like many others of its kind, contains a number of exceptions. This is the transportation of eggs between other EAEU member countries, as well as their transit and re-export to third countries, including those outside the Union.
