LATAM Cargo transports first shipment of Chilean salmon by air to Australia

After several months of preparation and definition of the required protocols by the competent authorities, the first shipment of Chilean salmon was loaded on Monday, November 25, bound for the Australian market. The salmon was transported by LATAM Cargo Group on flight LA805, which took off in the early hours of November 27 from Santiago bound for Melbourne, Australia, being the first time that this Chilean product is sent by air to that country. This is a shipment of 220 kilograms of fresh refrigerated salmon fillet, exported by two prominent national companies. This milestone marks the starting point for the export of Chilean products to Australia, opening new opportunities to position national quality and excellence abroad.
