The Cuchimachay micro-reservoir, capable of storing 460 cubic meters of water, has been inaugurated by the Regional Directorate of Agriculture of Lima. Located in Surco, province of Huarochirí, the reservoir will irrigate 15 hectares of avocado and custard apple crops, benefiting over 30 local farmers. This project is part of a larger initiative to construct 50 micro-reservoirs in the Lima region, aiming to provide continuous irrigation and support local agricultural production.
