A new state information and analytical system for registering breeding animals will be implemented in Russia on March 1, 2026. Initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture, the system aims to simplify and improve the management of breeding livestock. The system will register various breeding animals across different agricultural sectors, including dairy and beef cattle, sheep, pigs, horses, reindeer, and fur farming. This will improve genetic potential, ensure product quality control, and simplify import procedures. The system is expected to modernize agriculture, improve product quality, and serve as a basis for further research and development in selection and breeding animals.
