The highest price of 53,000 VND/kg was recorded in certain provinces, while 52,000 VND/kg was the transaction level in other provinces. In the Central region, live pig prices fluctuated between 51,000 - 53,000 VND/kg, with Thanh Hoa and Quang Ngai having the highest price of 53,000 VND/kg, and Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Dak Lak, and Ninh Thuan having the lowest price of 51,000 VND/kg. In the Southern region, the prices ranged from 50,000 - 54,000 VND/kg, with Ca Mau having the highest price of 54,000 VND/kg and An Giang having the lowest price of 50,000 VND/kg. Additionally, during the third quarter of 2023, Vietnam imported meat and meat products, with India being the largest supplier followed by Russia, Brazil, the United States, and Poland.
