On January 29, 2026, the company Louis Dreyfus (LDC) announced the commencement of operations of a new specialized seed processing line at its agribusiness complex in Timbúes, Santa Fe province. This will allow an increase in the capacity to process high-oil content seeds and further diversify the offer in the local market. These investments enable the plant to process a wider range of oilseed crops, such as camelina, carinata, rapeseed, and sunflower, complementing the existing soybean processing capacity and facilitating a more optimal use of production capacity throughout the year in accordance with the seasonal availability of various crops.
