These challenges have led to concerns about the sustainability of dairy farming and the potential reduction in milk production. Despite these challenges, data from AKI PÁIR shows a slight increase in the national average producer price of raw milk in October 2021 compared to the previous month and year. However, the rising costs are expected to increase the cost of milk production by HUF 15-20 per kilogram of milk produced in the next six months, which may not be covered by the current average purchase price of HUF 110 / kg. Additionally, the article discusses differences in sales prices for various dairy products and provides data on Hungary's dairy exports, revealing fluctuations in export volumes for various dairy products over the past year.
