The Russian Government has set new quotas for grain exports in the first half of 2026. The volumes, as well as the number of quota-subject crops, have increased. Since the beginning of this year, Russia has reduced wine imports by a third, said Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev. He also noted successes in production and quality improvement of this alcohol and the development of viticulture. Deputies have submitted a bill to ban palm oil for baby food. They named the institutions where restrictions are proposed to be introduced, as well as ways to monitor compliance with these rules. Major alcohol producers in Russia are increasing their sales share despite a decrease in demand. However, several companies from the top 10 showed negative dynamics. Analysts believe that Pakistan will be able to completely do without wheat imports this agricultural season. They named several reasons for this forecast.
