Thailand is increasing its efforts to export live cattle to China, with plans to purchase additional foot-and-mouth disease vaccines in fiscal year 2025 to improve epidemic prevention efficiency and build trust with trading partners. Meanwhile, Thailand has been given permission to export beef to Malaysia, and its beef cattle inventory is projected to grow by 2.58% to 9.9 million in 2024, with buffalo inventory expected to increase by 2.09% to 1.82 million.
