In other European countries, the highly pathogenic virus continues to wreak havoc. Since August 1, 2022, 270 outbreaks have already been counted in France. The vast majority are farms with meat ducks. Hardest hit is the Vendee region with 116 outbreaks and the regions of Maine et Loire (42 outbreaks) and Deux-Sevres (34) that surround Nantes.
