She pointed out hemp's suitability for Spain's climate and its environmental advantages, such as preventing soil erosion and reducing the need for chemical treatments. The Hemp Industry Cluster, which includes various companies and growers, aims to explore hemp's diverse applications in agriculture, food, pharmaceuticals, and industry. The ministry is also working on clarifying regulations and supporting the sector to help it reach its full potential, akin to other European nations.
