The main two problems facing organic producers in our country are related to the Public Procurement Act and agricultural markets, said today the Deputy Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria and Mayor of Troyan Municipality, Donka Mihaylova. Mihaylova participated in a forum on organic farming in the village of Chiflik, Troyan, organized by the Bulgarian Association "Bioproducts" (BAB) and the Bulgarian Association of Raspberry Producers and Berry Growers (BAM-ya). "I think the important issue is the Public Procurement Act. At a purely regulatory level, it is starting to develop, but in practice it is working with difficulty. Perhaps it makes sense for us to deepen our expert discussions and together advocate for the requirement that the law be made in a way that best serves the interests of citizens and at the same time economizes public resources," said Donka Mihaylova, quoted by BTA.
