Brazil: MDIC begins investigation into dumping of powdered milk exports from Argentina and Uruguay

The Secretariat of Foreign Trade (Secex) of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services (MDIC) has initiated an investigation into dumping in exports of powdered milk – whole or skimmed – from Argentina and Uruguay to Brazil. The complaint was filed with the agency in August of this year by the Brazilian Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock (CNA). According to a ruling published in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU), the analysis of the evidence of dumping considered the period from January 2023 to December 2023.
