In the coming days, the White House will officially announce the expansion of the import quota for Argentine beef to 80,000 tons annually, an increase of 60,000 tons from the current regime. The new bilateral agreement, which maintains a tariff of 10%, will mean additional estimated revenues of $300 million, according to livestock analyst Víctor Tonelli, who explained that the improvement comes from the tariff differential and the average FOB export value.
