Meat Prices in Ukraine Significantly Increased in June. Analysts from the Ukrainian Agrarian Business Club (UABC) report on this. Beef (goulash) now costs 336 UAH/kg – an increase of 6% per month. This is also 20% more expensive than last year. Chicken prices have risen even more. "Fillet has increased by 11% to 222 UAH/kg (+39% per year), thigh – by 28% to 154 UAH/kg (+39% per year), and carcass – by 25% to 110 UAH/kg (+42% per year)," UABC specialists note. It is worth noting that the cost of chicken eggs has increased by 79% over the year. Today, the price is 68.9 UAH per dozen. The rise in chicken prices is associated with increased feed costs.
