Argentina: Strategic visit to the Halal market in the United Arab Emirates

Specially invited by the Argentine Beef Promotion Institute (IPCVA) with the aim of instructing the meat packing industry to achieve the sanitary qualification of a growing market, Dr. Tharwat Al-Bataineh, an official from the Food Safety Department of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment of the United Arab Emirates, visited the country and met with industrialists and officials. Dr. Tharwat is a renowned veterinary specialist with more than 26 years of experience in animal health, food safety and Halal standards. Her deep knowledge in risk management, food safety policies and trade facilitation provided great added value to understand the regulations and opportunities of the United Arab Emirates market.
