The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) in Brasília projects a 4% increase in Brazilian beef production to 11.37 million tons in 2024. Domestic beef consumption is also expected to rise by 4% to 8.5 million tons due to improved economic conditions and increased availability. Brazil is also set to export a record 2.955 million tons of beef, which is 26% of all production. Additionally, Brazil's pork production is predicted to increase by 4% to 4.68 million tons, with domestic consumption rising to 3.18 million tons and exports increasing by 6% to 1.5 million tons.
