The Agricultural Defense Coordination (CDA) of the Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply (SAA) is set to hold two meetings on February 22nd to discuss the European Union's (EU) requirements for the Tahiti acid lime market. The meetings, prompted by a Circular Letter from the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA) on phytosanitary measures, will address changes in field measures for lime producers and necessary adjustments for owners of Consolidation Units (CUs) that process and pack the fruits. The goal is to ensure that producers comply with the measures necessary to produce healthy fruits that meet European health standards.
