The appointment, received on behalf of the National Service of Health, Safety and Agro-Food Quality (SENASICA), an agency of the Secretariat of Agriculture and Rural Development, was led by María Elena González Ruiz, director of Regulation of Establishments and Co-Adjuvancy Bodies. During the ceremony, González highlighted the importance of coordination between veterinary services and the pharmaceutical industry to ensure the immediate and sufficient availability of veterinary medicines, considered the first line of defense against epidemic outbreaks.
