Mexico has successfully opened markets for the export of several agricultural products, including grapes, blackberries, bananas, asparagus, sugar cane seed, and mangoes to various countries. These negotiations, completed between September 2019 and June 2020, have led to the first banana shipments to China. The country's agricultural surplus with the United States amounts to $9.189 million from October 2019 to June 2020, with exports valued at $23,082 million and US sales at $13,893 million. Additionally, Mexico has implemented new phytosanitary measures for imported goods and has implemented a work plan for stone fruit imports from Spain.
