At MHP-Urozhai's Central Hub, the harvesting of sugar beets, which the company has been growing for the second consecutive year, has been completed. This news was reported by the company's press service on its Facebook page on November 6, writes APK-Inform.
As stated, this year, 746 hectares were allocated for them. Despite difficult and atypical weather conditions, the enterprise achieved a sugar content of 18.5-19%. They were grown in the fields of several production units of the enterprise.
"This is a very high indicator, which confirms the effectiveness of the applied technology and the systematic work of the team. Over two years, we have gained our own experience and developed a technology that provides a stable result. Sugar beets are a demanding but grateful crop: it requires attention, care, and control. At the same time, it is high-margin. And we are always in favor of development and the search for opportunities that bring results and profit," says regional production manager Yevgeniy Skripuchuk.
