Peru's Minister of Agriculture, Federico Tenorio, and President Francisco Sagasti, have visited the Santa Ana Agrarian Experimental Station in the Junín region to announce a significant investment in modern infrastructure for the National Institute of Agrarian Innovation (INIA) of MIDAGRI. The facility will be equipped with advanced technology to enhance research on crop and livestock development, focusing on quinoa, potatoes, wheat, corn, barley, oats, garlic, artichokes, and garlic, as well as livestock. The objective of this investment is to improve agricultural production, generate new certified seeds with high genetic quality, and provide small and medium farmers with the necessary technology to enhance the quality and competitiveness of their crops.
