Midagri: table grape exports will exceed US$ 1.9 billion

(Agraria.pe) By the end of 2025, Peruvian grape exports will exceed US$ 1.900 million, consolidating our country as the leading global producer and exporter of this fruit. This was reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri), which added that, by the end of this year, the exported volume of this fruit would reach 760 thousand tons. Additionally, the estimated average price would be US$ 3.27/kg. The estimate is based on the behavior observed in the first shipments of the 2024/2025 campaign. For example, in terms of volume, in the period 2015 and 2025, the national production of fresh grapes in Peru maintained a general trend of growth, going from 597,900 tons in 2015 to a preliminary estimate of 1.09 million tons in 2025, which represents a cumulative increase of +82.5%.
