Milk in Kazakhstan has risen in price by 14% over the year, fermented milk products - by 10%

In January of this year, prices for dairy products in the Republic of Kazakhstan increased by 0.5% per month and by 10.4% per year. Including drinking milk increased in price in annual dynamics by 14.4%, canned milk - by 13.9%, fermented milk products - by 9.9%. Among the latter, yogurt increased in price by 6% over the year, kefir 2.5% fat - by 11.9%, sour cream - by 9.7%, cottage cheese 5%-9% fat - by 9.2%, hard cheese - by 4.8%. Analysts from the Eneryprom.kz agency report this. Regionally, the largest increase in prices in the sector was observed in the Ulytau region - by 18.1%. Among the anti-leaders were also West Kazakhstan (by 17.8%) and Mangistau (by 15.4%) regions. The smallest annual price increase was recorded in Shymkent - by 2.5%. At the end of January of this year, the production of dairy products in the Republic of Kazakhstan amounted to 41.6 billion tenge - 0.9% more in money than a year earlier.
