Turkey has successfully started exporting milk and dairy products to China, despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. The exports, which began in May, saw 54 companies receiving permission to export primarily whey, with a total value of $1,672,000 in the first four months. The exports also included small quantities of cheese, cream, milk powder, and butter. The Aegean Fisheries and Animal Products Exporters' Association is optimistic about the market's potential in China and views it as a significant first step.
