The article highlights the significant progress made in implementing the Regional Export Plans (PERX) of Ancash and Huánuco regions, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) of Peru. These plans, which aim to boost exports, have seen nearly 50% and 32% implementation in Ancash and Huánuco respectively. The success is attributed to the collaboration of various stakeholders, including trade promotion events, capacity building, and financing for the export sector. Ancash is focusing on exporting various fruits, Andean products, and hydrobiological products, while Huánuco is prioritizing cacao, coffee, and other food products. This progress is part of the national strategy to update PERX in all regions, with a goal to further diversify and increase the competitiveness of Peru's exportable products, particularly in agricultural sectors like cocoa and mango.
