Minister Takhov: Cooperation is the key to stronger Bulgarian production

Cooperation is key to stronger Bulgarian production. Association gives farmers larger volumes, lower costs, and better market access. This was stated by Minister of Agriculture and Food Georgi Tahkov during the public consultations at the food market organized by the Commission for the Protection of Competition. He reported that at present, there are 68 recognized producer groups and organizations, mainly in the sensitive sectors of "Fruits and Vegetables" and "Milk." Minister Tahkov specified that the Strategic Plan for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Areas 2023–2027 provides financial incentives, sets priorities, and information campaigns, according to the press office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
