Bulgaria's Minister of Agriculture and Food, Kiril Vatev, has signed an agreement with five agricultural organizations to bolster the country's agriculture sector. The agreement includes plans for aid in 2024 for the nut, mushroom, and potato sectors, the creation of working groups to develop agricultural policies, and the drafting of a bill to amend the Law on the Ownership and Use of Agricultural Lands. It also calls for a comprehensive analysis of the funding needed to support farmers by sector ahead of the 2025 budgetary procedure.
