The Department of Livestock Development in Thailand has come forward with relief efforts for farmers affected by floods in the South, providing 134,240 kilograms of animal feed, evacuating 207,793 animals, and supporting 268 animal health promotion kits. Additionally, they have treated 701 animals and distributed 158 animal survival bags. The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives reports that 117,400 farmers across nine provinces have been affected, with a total of 5,753,340 animals in the flooded areas. Affected farmers can seek support by contacting various offices and departments as announced by Mr. Anukul Prueksanusak, Deputy Government Spokesperson.
