The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs in South Korea has unveiled a plan to financially support the unit prices of selected vegetables and fruits, including apples, green onions, cucumbers, and zucchini, at 16 traditional markets in Seoul by April 12th. With a total investment of 26.87 million won, this initiative aims to alleviate the price burden on consumers by reducing the costs of these items by 14.0 to 49.5 percent. Initially tested in 11 markets, the program is set to expand nationwide, in partnership with various organizations, and will introduce a 'Traditional Market Day' each month to further support this effort.
