Russia's Ministry of Agriculture anticipates a grain harvest of 130 million tons by the end of 2024, sufficient to meet domestic needs and maintain high export levels. The country is projected to export 55-57 million tons of grain in the current season to 109 countries, primarily in the Middle East and Africa. However, concerns have been raised about potential spring droughts and frost damage, which could impact the harvest. So far, Russia has exported 39.8 million tons of grain, including over 32 million tons of wheat, to foreign markets until mid-February. The total shipments may not exceed 12 million tons due to quotas and other factors, falling short of the Ministry's 57 million tons forecast.
