The Minister of Agriculture in Indonesia, Syahrul Yasin Limpo, has revealed plans to enhance the cultivation and productivity of swallow nests and porang plants. These two commodities are crucial export earnings for the country. The ministry will collaborate with the Minister of Industry and the Minister of Trade to regulate trade, including exports. The Minister also emphasized that porang can be grown in most regions of Indonesia and that technical coaching for farmers will be provided. The initiative aligns with the President's directive to boost these commodities while ensuring that local farmers and the industry are not unduly affected by the regulations.
