Ministry's findings regarding the grain train: it is Polish corn for bioethanol production

The Polish corn did not reach us from Ukraine – the Ministry of Agriculture reported after checking the rail transport that had become a topic of discussion in the agricultural community. Commentators on the video of the train journey with corn that went viral online pointed out the lack of protection of the wagons against access by wild animals and rainwater, and above all, that it was a product that could originate from Ukraine, imported despite the existing embargo. The Minister of Agriculture – as we wrote – admitted that he had received signals about this matter. He assured that this transport would be checked, including its origin and destination.
