The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has updated its global forecast for major agricultural crops for the 2023/24 marketing year. Ukraine's wheat production is expected to remain unchanged at 22.5 million tons, while corn production is forecasted to increase by 1.5 million tons to 29.5 million tons. Both crops are also experiencing an increase in exports. The overall global forecast for wheat shows an increase in supply, a decrease in consumption, trade volumes, and an increase in ending stocks, while the forecast for corn predicts growth in production, consumption, trade volumes, and ending stocks.
