Ukraine: More than 100,000 young brook trout replenished the rivers of Transcarpathia and Bukovyna

The rivers of Zakarpattia and Chernivtsi regions were stocked with brook trout. This was reported by the State Fisheries Agency. In particular, 45,300 fry of this aboriginal species of salmon were released in mountain Cheremosh in Bukovina. In Transcarpathia, 30,000 brook trout fry were introduced into the rivers Teresva, Krasnoshurk, Tereshulka, Rika and stream Ozerel.
