Over 70% of the planned oilseed sowing in the Moscow region has been completed, with more than 30 thousand hectares already sown, according to the region's Ministry of Agriculture and Food. This represents a increase of 5.6 thousand hectares from the previous year. The sowing has included spring rape, sunflower, and soybeans, with Shakhovskaya, Zaraysk, and Serebryanye Prudy leading in oilseed sowing rates.
