The International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT) will negotiate in Seville the fishing of species such as bluefin tuna, at its annual assembly that will be held from this Monday until the 24th. ICCAT, formed by 60 nations, will negotiate the fishing of species such as the Mediterranean bluefin tuna, the bonito, or the swordfish. It will hold its annual meeting, in a hybrid format, in which this year the central negotiation is that of the bluefin tuna fishing, a flagship species that has recovered and for which Spain claims an increase in catches.
