Since January 2019, over 700 agricultural establishments in Brazil have been approved to export to 24 countries, including Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines. The country has opened 65 markets for agricultural products since 2019, with a record export revenue of over $10 billion in April 2020. The agricultural sector was the only one to show growth in the first quarter of 2020, increasing by 0.6% compared to the previous quarter and by 1.9% year-on-year.
