Russia: More than 950 thousand tons of fish and seafood were exported to 18 countries from Primorye and Sakhalin

The Rosselkhoznadzor Administration has inspected 14,300 batches of fish products destined for export to 18 countries and reported that they all met the required standards. Since the start of 2024, significant exports have been made to China, Korea, Japan, Nigeria, and Thailand, with fish products totaling 669.6 thousand tons, 254.9 thousand tons, 12.2 thousand tons, 9.4 thousand tons, and 3.8 thousand tons, respectively. Other countries like Germany, Vietnam, Côte d'Ivoire, Togo, Ghana, North Korea, the Netherlands, Oman, Taiwan, Poland, Denmark, Israel, and the UAE have also received fish and seafood products. The export portfolio includes pollock, cod, and live crab, which are the most popular products among importers.
