Farmers in the Kherson region of Ukraine have already collected 590 tons of melon crops, along with other products such as grain, rapeseed, potatoes, and vegetables. However, due to the temporary occupation of part of the region, the harvest is significantly smaller than before the war. In an effort to compensate for the lack of watermelons, cultivation of the crop has started in other regions of Ukraine, leading to an increased supply and a subsequent decrease in watermelon prices.
