Morocco has seen a significant increase in imports of dried plums during the current season, with 1.7 thousand tons imported from January to August 2023, compared to only one thousand tons imported over the past seven years. Spain is the main exporter of dried plums to Morocco, accounting for half of the country's total imports. The geography of imports has expanded this season, with plums also being imported from countries like Uzbekistan, Moldova, Romania, and Poland.
