Morocco continues to increase exports of Brussels sprouts to the UK

Morocco is increasing its overall vegetable exports and EastFruit suggests paying attention to increasing supplies of Brussels sprouts to the UK. In just a few years, Moroccan exporters managed to import vegetables to the markets of this country literally from scratch. As can be seen from the graph, until a few years ago Brussels sprouts from Morocco were not supplied to UK markets at all. Moroccan producers managed to establish exports in 2019, but imports were minimal, as was the case a year later. The situation changed radically after Brexit, when the UK needed alternative import channels. Morocco has sharply increased the supply of many vegetables, fruit and berries to British markets, including increasing exports of Brussels sprouts. Since then, the import of Moroccan vegetables into the country has been growing and supply volumes annually show a new record.
