Morocco exported record volume of blueberries to Eastern Europe in 2024

Morocco exported a record volume of fresh blueberries to several Eastern European countries in the first half of 2024, EastFruit reports. At the same time, Moroccan exporters managed to exceed the result of the entire previous calendar year and significantly strengthen their position in the key sales market in the region. Thus, in January-June 2024, Moroccan blueberries were directly supplied to four Eastern European countries - the Czech Republic, Estonia, Ukraine and Poland. During this period, Morocco exported 2.1 thousand tons of these berries in this direction, while for the entire previous year, exports amounted to 1.8 thousand tons. At the same time, Morocco managed to set a record in supplies to Poland (1.5 thousand tons) and Estonia (240 tons) in the first half of this year, but direct presence in Ukraine and the Czech Republic decreased slightly.
